Now that the sun is starting to make its long-awaited reappearance, it’s time to start thinking about your Summer wardrobe. What better time than now to announce the arrival of our brand-new Made in England women’s and men’s sneakers.
Say hello to the men’s Didsbury and the women’s Cheadle, available in an assortment of colours to suit any outfit or occasion. Featuring colourways using leather from one of our favourite tanneries, Charles F. Stead, these sneakers are as much about craftsmanship as they are about looking the part while the sun’s out.
In addition to our new releases, our much-loved Ancoats sneaker style will also be receiving a top-up in your favourite colourways, including Black, Navy, Caramel, Bronze Brown, Mole, and White.
WHY DIDSBURY AND CHEADLE?
Throughout the years of LANX sneakers, each style has been named after an area of Manchester - a place favourited by many LANX team members and a city we have close ties to. This tradition was kicked off with our men’s ‘Ancoats’ sneakers. Fans of LANX may also remember our ‘Sankey’ style, which was named after the infamous Sankey’s nightclub chain that dotted Manchester back in the day.
Since then, we’ve introduced Horwich, and now Didsbury and Cheadle, and it’s likely a tradition we will try to keep for future releases.
DIDSBURY - MEN'S SNEAKER
As a brand-new addition to our men’s Made in England sneaker collection, Didsbury is a casual sneaker style featuring more detailed line-work in comparison to our more minimalistic Ancoats style. These sneakers are all about style, comfort and quality, and feature:

A no-nonsense and timeless style, Cheadle is the newest addition to our women’s Made in England sneaker collection. These sneakers are the perfect sidecar to a pair of LANX boots and are a welcomed addition of Steads leather to our women’s footwear collection. These styles feature:
