Downham
Downham is made by our friends at Highland 2000. Ran by two brothers Stuart and Mark who took over their family business in (you guessed it) the year 2000. The family had moved up from Guildford in the 60’s to set up shop in the thriving knitting industry in Nottingham - namely, in Eastwood - where the brothers started to work in the 80’s.

Lovely hat. Not heavy, but lovely and warm and smart. I bought the Navy merino cotton one. Wear it all the time. Well deserving of 5* for quality and style, however given 4*, as much as I like it - I still feel they are a little on the expensive side for what they are. Regardless of this, still would recommend.

I have previously purchased shoes from you and was very pleased with the quality. I purchased this beanie anticipating that it would be of the usual Lanx standards, however for the price i didn't consider it good value.
