• Prepare the boots: Brush off any loose dirt or debris from the boots. If the boots are new, you may not need to clean them, but if they are pre-worn, cleaning can improve the spray's effectiveness.

  • Shake the can: Ensure the Dasco Protector Spray is well-mixed by shaking the can thoroughly.

  • Spray evenly: Hold the can about 20cm away from the boots and spray in a sweeping, even motion, ensuring the entire surface is covered.

  • Allow to dry: Let the treated boots dry completely before wearing them. This usually takes around 10-30 minutes, but refer to the product instructions for the specific drying time.

  • Reapply as needed: For optimal protection, reapply the Dasco Protector Spray regularly, especially after cleaning the boots or when you notice a decrease in water repellence.

Important Notes:

Before applying the spray to the entire boot, test it on a small, inconspicuous area to ensure it doesn't darken the boot's colour, especially with lighter shades.

Apply the spray in a well-ventilated area, or even better, outdoors, as the spray can have a strong odour.
