At LANX, we’re always designing, sampling, and putting new materials through their paces to see what truly earns its keep. Every now and then, a leather proves itself, not just in the workshop, but with you. Those are the ones we call our ‘signature’ leathers: the materials we use across collections, season after season, because they’ve become firm favourites for good reason.
Currently, we have three signature leathers: CARAMEL, WALNUT, and MOLE
CARAMEL
One of our most popular leathers, Caramel is made exclusively for LANX by our friends at Charles F Stead in Leeds. Caramel is a rich brown colour with a waxed finish that reveals the natural appearance and characteristics of the leather with wear.

WALNUT
Walnut is a versatile shade of dark brown, made using Charles F Stead’s ‘waxy commander’ leather. This is a waxed suede, meaning it wears in beautifully over time, revealing its distressed undertones the more it’s worn.
