LANX & 6 Connections Socks

Posted by LANX Group Limited on

Introducing 2 new pairs of high quality, made in England socks to our collection. Though you may have noticed there’s something a little different about these.

Whilst these socks continue to be hand made in a family-run business that’s been running for over 100 years, we’ve partnered with an organisation called Six Connections, who encourage conversations around mental health as part of the everyday. It’s important to understand what it’s like to walk in other people’s shoes and our ‘have a wander’ range does just that.

Dave, the founder, says “We all know people who have struggled with and do struggle with mental health. Six Connections have partnered with LANX Shoes to create a custom sock, to support mental health and its awareness. Our tagline is Powered By Mates and this sock is for you or just to let your mates know that you care and are there for them.’

£5 of EVERY pair sold will fuel initiatives to provide support and help to start the REAL conversations that we all need from time to time. A QR code on each product leads to the Six Connections website of back up and support for you and your mates. With small positive steps, the stigma surrounding mental health can be changed once and for all.

Six Connections launched in 2020, as a beacon for mental health change. Starting with one connection, they have helped people to open-up with family, friends and colleagues and start healthy conversations in their space. Six Connections is all about REAL conversations around mental health, in normal places. In the pub, on a night out or at a festival. In the good times as well as the not so good. Conversation BEFORE the crisis.
