🇬🇧 LANX x New York 🇺🇸
Message from Marv...
Like all LANX shoe collections, the soon to be released Spring Summer 2019 (“SS19”) range is inspired by an overseas adventure, which is where we get our “international influence” from.
I chose New York for a few different reasons; I needed some catch up beers with a mate living in the city, I wanted to spend time with some excellent bespoke shoemakers I'd been made aware of, and I booked myself on to a highly respected shoe making course at the Brooklyn Shoe Space.
Keiko, the lady who runs the Brooklyn Shoe Space, is a lovely and knowledgeable shoe craftswoman, I can highly recommend her courses. She has created a relaxed vibe and creative space for people with an interest in shoe making. It was nice meeting and working alongside people with various footwear interests; from brogues, to high heels, to sneakers.
Thank you also to Anne and Markia who let me into their personal shoe workshops in Brooklyn, and also Jon from Oliver Moore Bootmakers in Manhattan, for allowing me to spend time with his dedicated staff and learn more about his family’s shoe making history.
New York is a surprisingly chilled out city with plenty of places to think, plan and be inspired. Greenpoint, Brooklyn, is a nice creative neighbourhood to stay or relax in, with interesting people and good coffee in abundance. To see more photos of my time in New York click here.

Keep an eye on the LANX Facebook page this weekend for info on how to be the first to view and pre-order the LANX SS19 range. Please note, all the SS19 styles are only made in small numbers and are limited release. I have included some notes further down this page which details information and alternations concerning the new range .
Below is a photo of our new Park boot in distressed brown leather, absolute belter don't you think?
Cheers,

A few things to note about our new range;
👞 All styles are made in small numbers and limited release
👞 All styles are made in small numbers and limited release
👞 We have a new tweed in the range, once again supplied by Benjamin Thornber & Sons from Clitheroe, Lancashire
👞 With the aim of going a little more casual for our spring summer styles, we have introduced distressed leathers and also a mesh material, most commonly used on trainers
👞 We have a loafer, it's summer, makes sense, we think
👞 There is a Chelsea boot, everyone kept asking, we gave in
👞 We have a new shoe box, wrapping paper and box inserts, all NYC inspired of course
👞 We have edited the orange insole. Previously it had the LANX logo printed in black, this season we have debossed the logo, very sophisticated indeed
👞 We have made some alterations to the mid-boot last shape (previously used on style Dibnah). Some customers dropped a size in style Dibnah. Our new mid-boots fit much truer, so if you are a UK size 9, please buy a UK size 9 (same for all other sizes)
👞 We have made some alterations to the Park boot last shape. Some customers went up a size in style Park. Our new Park boot fits much truer, so if you are a UK size 9, please buy a UK size 9 (same for all other sizes)
👞 We have not made any alterations to the 2 shoe last shapes we use. If you were a UK size 9 in LANX brogues and shoes last season, buy the same size again (same for all other sizes)
