Introducing the RE-LANX Market: our next step in keeping LANX footwear out of landfill and in use. This is the place to buy refurbished LANX footwear that's been repaired, sanitised, and restored to its best possible condition.
The RE-LANX Market is only open for a limited time, so get in while you can.
When creating proper footwear that lasts, you don’t just think about how it’s going to work for the first wear; you also think about what happens after the current wearer no longer has a use for it. For most people, discarding old footwear is the easiest option, whether that’s donating it to charity or throwing it in the bin.
The benefits of using the RE-LANX Market are clear: shoes stay in use for longer, repairs are carried out officially by the LANX team, footwear is sold with a warranty and support, and customers are buying from a trusted brand with established reviews and feedback - removing the uncertainty that often comes with third-party resale platforms.
Welcome to the RE-LANX Market: keeping the journey going, one refurbished pair at a time.
REPAIR, RESTORE, REWEAR
Every pair sold on the RE-LANX Market has been through our hands at the factory in Whalley, Lancashire, where it has been officially repaired, restored, and sanitised using Micro-fresh®. This multi-award-winning hygiene technology prevents odours, bacteria, and mould. It's hypoallergenic, plastic-free, and keeps footwear fresh for good.
Here's the bit people don't expect: refurbishing a shoe takes more skill than making one new. It means knowing exactly what's gone wrong, what can be saved, and how to put it right. Every pair is carefully assessed, repaired, and graded by people who know LANX footwear better than anyone. With genuine expertise, warranty, and customer support behind every pair, there's no safer place to buy refurbished LANX.
THE GRADES
There are four grades in the Market:
- BRAND NEW — Perfect condition, never worn.
- LIKE NEW — Excellent condition, minimal signs of use.
- LIGHT WEAR — Great condition, worn but cared for, light creasing.
- MEDIUM WEAR — Good condition, heavily worn but still good to go.
Each grade comes with a reduction to the RRP to match, and every pair is available across a limited number of colours and sizes for men's and women's styles. All footwear comes with the same warranty and customer support as new, plus a new RE-LANX in-sock, so you know exactly where it's been.
THE MARKET YEARS
LANX was built on market stalls: cold mornings, sideways rain, and face-to-face interactions with real customers across the North West between 2018 and 2020. Long before shops of our own, the team was out every weekend, learning firsthand what people wanted from their footwear and building something real, pair by pair.
That same spirit is what drives the RE-LANX Market. Just like those early days, it's about genuine care for the customer and the product in front of us. The market years taught us to know our footwear inside out, and that knowledge is exactly what goes into every pair we refurbish, sanitise, and restore.
Down-to-earth, hands-on, and proudly committed to giving every pair the attention it deserves, just like we did from a market stall back in the day.
INTEGRITY
Every year in the UK, around 150 million pairs of shoes end up in landfill. Many of them are barely worn, with some disposed of within the first 12 months of wear. That’s a statistic that has never sat right with us, and we wanted to do our part to turn it around.
A well-worn pair of shoes should never be disposed of - instead, they should be repaired for many more miles on the road, or traded in to be passed on to a new owner. That cycle of wear, repair and trade-in means that LANX footwear can stay in circulation indefinitely. That's what keeping the journey going actually means.
THE RE-LANX MARKET: OPEN NOW
A new way to buy refurbished LANX footwear, officially repaired, restored, and sanitised by our own team, right here in Lancashire. It’s only open for a limited time, so don’t hang about.
Better for your wallet, better for the planet.
RE-LANX. Keep the journey going.
