Simply put, best leather boots I've ever treated my feet to. Visited the shop in Whalley while holidaying in the area, staff were very friendly & helpful. Loved the Swamp colour seeing it online and I wasn't dissapointed in the shop, they're comfy, look fantastic & the wee detailing with the rose and bull is a nice touch. Just need to save up for the next pair.....

This is my fifth pair of Lanx shoes and these are the best, top quality, very comfortable and look amazing. I don't think I have ever left a review on anything I have purchased, but these Garstang boots are that good.......sizing wise I wear a 10 normally and the 9 and a half fit perfectly so definitely consider sizing down Half a size.

Hey Up! Being a Yorkshire man it was a tough decision to buy these boots from over the Pennines, but so glad I did fit like slippers,made really well! Very pleased, and they look great.

I now have 8 pairs of LANX in various styles always a size 8, these I ordered a 7.5 perfect fit. Slightly tight across the foot but will be perfect once broken in.

I'm always a bit of a skeptic when reading reviews on such personal items as shoes, but I thought I would leave a review about the shoes I have bought from Lanx. So here goes....
I have seldom bought a pair of proper shoes that cost over £200, not because I'm tight or because I can't afford them, but because I haven't been able to find decent shoes that last and don't hurt. (Blisters etc.)
I saw the Lanx ads on Facebook a while back and liked the ethos of the company,"Northern, well made, approachable.'
I liked the look of the shoes, but I didn't initially purchase, because of past experience with proper shoes and my dodgy feet and my aversion to pain. (Blisters etc.)
I relented and bought a pair of Chelsea boots in October. Much to my surprise, the didn't hurt... At all! Wow! This was a first.
I'm very impressed, not common!
The design of the shoes is very good, solid, strong and well made, exactly what they say on the box! (Very Northern, no airs and graces, you get what you pay for!)
The little elements make the difference, like the pull on loops are big enough for my chubby fingers to fit into them.(Another first!)
When all is said and done, I will buy more, in fact I already have. I have the new ones on as I write this.
Good Northern shoes.

Don't hesitate, just buy these boots. The quality and build these boots is 6 star. My only regret is not paying enough attention to the note about sizing. Im a size 10 and ordered a 9.5 and they are still loose around the heel. But fit in the toe and across the foot is perfect so I'm not sure how a smaller size would fit. Regardless, with a decent sock they are super, super comfy and incredibly sturdy. These aren't a 'city' Chelsea boot - these would work on the Ranch!!! I absolutely love these boots and will definitely be buying a second pair (different colour) soon.

These are the best boots I've ever had - comfortable and with a look and feel of quality. They are getting lots of use and will continue to do so.
Pleased to get the steer from the website to size these down, which I did, normally 9 but 8 is a perfect fit.
