Craftsmanship Craftsmanship

Upper : Pull Up & Distressed Leather 1.8mm - 2.0mm Crazy Cow in coach colour, supplied by Charles F Stead. The leather provides a wonderful depth of colour and burnishes magnificently by trapping a layer of wax between the natural antiquing and our regular aniline top finish. The glossier finish makes the leather particularly suitable for footwear. The nature of this leather means it marbles/ marks easily, however we believe this adds further charm and character to the boots over time. In terms of cleaning, gently remove loose dirt once dry with a dry cloth or soft brush. If wet, allow the leather to dry in a well ventilated location at ambient temperature. Polish with a natural wax, dubbin or venetian cream.

The feedback from our customers on this style is that they fit a little spacious, with most reporting they purchased a half or full size down. In industry terms this style has a men’s G fitting. The only negative I have to say is the deep regret that I have been wearing other shoes for 50 years before I discovered Lanx. So I am just not used to putting on a pair of proper shoes and finding they just….fit! No blisters, no rubbing, squashed toes, wearing in etc. Just a perfect fit.
