Grindleton, derby brogue boots, handcrafted in England with a Goodyear 360 Storm welted construction, combine premium leather and expert craftsmanship. A '360 Storm Welt' refers to the way the welt (a strip of leather sewn to the upper and insole) runs completely around the entire shoe, providing full protection from the elements, particularly water. Didn't intend to purchase a boot, bought shoes as well, but Josh (damn him and his willy ways) persuaded me to try a pair. WTF! Have been wearing them for the last week, so comfortable. This is footwear that wears in,not out. Have had several comments about the Grindletons too, all positive. Only problem now is that I need them in brown.....

They're comfortable, substantial enough to wear every day, stylish enough to wear with smart clothes but also look great with casual clothes, a gorgeous colour, notably pleasant smell (not something I usually associate with shoes), visibly durable with high quality materials, and the little Lanx touches leave it reverberating character...

These are amazing boots that are beautifully crafted. The colour is amazing and I bought them initially to go with my green and khaki vintage 50s style chinos, but they go pretty much anything. Love them to bits

Seriously though. Top class boots, English last, quality leather, beautiful styling, classic in fact, but with enough of a modern twist to work in our crazy 21st Century.

These are without doubt the finest shoes I've ever owned. They're comfortable, substantial enough to wear every day, stylish enough to wear with smart clothes but also look great with casual clothes, a gorgeous colour, notably pleasant smell (not something I usually associate with shoes), visibly durable with high quality materials, and the little Lanx touches leave it reverberating character. However - the laces are very poor quality, and actually snapped. Also, I recommend going at least one size down your usual size - mine are one size down from my usual size and still a bit roomy.

The leather is of the best quality that I have ever encountered. After the initial breaking-in period and after an application of “Flexalan” lanolin to soften them up (wish we had Flexalan in my Army days!) these boots fit beautifully. My only gripe would be that these are not available in tan. Perhaps Lanx could broaden their colour range to include a lighter brown or tan for these boots?

Excellent boots and relaxed service made it an easy transaction. Lancashire motif on the front is a nice touch. Quality costs but they are boots for a lifetime.
