This style comes up a little bigger than the Garstang boots (which I also purchased)0 so needs a slight thicker sock. Very comfortable boots and good thick sole. The colour gets more green or brown depending on the light. More green in daylight and more brown under artificial light has been my experience. Nothing wrong in this but you may find it useful to make a decision.

The boots look really nice and the quality of manufacture is excellent which you would expect at the price. Unfortunately, I had a dilemma with the sizing in that my heels slipped in them a little but they felt right everywhere else if not a little tight which I figured would improve once broken in, unfortunately that is taking time. I felt if I had dropped a size to get a better fit in length they would have been far too tight so stuck with them as opposed to using the option to exchange which you can do twice without charge, which is good. In any case having walked around the house in them trying to make my my mind up as to whether I should change size, they had become a little creased and I thought that might be a problem when returning. Having put in some insoles along with wearing thicker socks they feel better and once finally more softened all should be fine.
If you get the opportunity to go to one of the stores to try before you buy, I recommend you do.
I wouldn’t have a problem buying from Lanx again.

I purchased my first pair of Lanx shoes which have just arrived. Just tried them on and they fit perfectly, I dropped half a size from my usual. They look and feel great, already looking on the website for my next purchase!
