Really nice and unusual long waxed suede boots. Despite the last being the same, these are definitely a bit more roomy than my other pair of tasker boots from lanx. The logger sole is proper dainite and very grippy compared to the studded dainite sole on the taskers. The overall silhouette is a little chunkier than the slim taskers too which is quite nice to go with baggy jeans. Only downside is that the leather is tough and the break in is long. Suggestion for lanx- how about making the lining out of suede or rough side out? The lining you currently use on all of your boots is a little... squeaky...

Bought a pair of Dutton Teak distressed suede boots from the Whalley warehouse in September last year (2024). They took about 4 weeks to wear-in properly, but now I find them so comfortable I wear them almost every day. Very good quality and stylish, with a colour that is maturing over time. I'm very happy with them and will be buying another pair of Lanx boots this year.

Just got my 8th pair of Lanx, addicted to the quality materials, construction, fit, feel, comfort, great designs and brilliant customer care.
Popped into Whalley Factory on the 2nd Jan, specifically to purchase a pair of Dutton's in teak.
Great service, as all ways.
Fantastic fit and feel, once again no 'wearing in' required, straight out of the box.
Looking forward to my next excuse to pop in.

Christmas present 🎁 for my other half, he had boot envy as I had purchased a pair of Chipping in distressed Conker for myself just before Christmas, I love mine. He has become a Lanx Lover too. Absolutely beautiful boots and fit perfect. To top it all off he bought me Chipping in black and some very lovely Lanx socks……perfect ❤️ it’s been a bit of a Lanx Christmas in our house.

Great pair of shoes and well made. Still in the process of wearing them in but look and feel great so far. I found the sizing a little off, normally a 9-9.5 but an 8.5 fitted well without feeling at all tight. I purchased from the shop in Manchester which was well worth the visit to get the size right and for the really helpful chap who served me there.

Excellent quality and beautifully crafted boots. I haven’t worn them in quite yet but really looking forward to. The size is about right for me and they are fairly narrow, I do have narrow feet !

Love the boots great looking and stylish, but luckily I didn't follow the advice to buy a 1/2 size smaller as my normal size 7 fit perfect in fact a little snug if anything, lanx sizing seems very confusing, not sure why many of their shoes are advertised as fitting a little big surely size should be accurate especially as they trade online mainly ,however quality of shoes is 10/10
